Good Start project – kick-off meeting in Riga

Proud to be part again of digital learning and transformation. As Partners in European-funded projects, we continue to contribute to change and evolution, by creating, sustaining, and promoting digitization and knowledge sharing.

This time the core of our activities will be digital hygiene and teaching SMEs, start-ups, or VET institutions the benefits of having a regular digital hygiene program for their systems and software.

eLearning & Software SRL (eLSo) is a project partner in “Erasmus+” project “Good Digital Hygiene for Startups” – Good Start (No. 2022-1-LV01-KA220-VET-000086725), implemented for two years (November 2022 – October 2024).

First transnational partner meeting

On 30 -31 January, Project Good Start officially kicked off with the first in-person Transnational Partner Meeting in Riga, Latvia, hosted by the project coordinator “Baltijas Datoru Akadēmija” (BDA), or Baltic Computer Academy, one of the largest IT training and certification businesses in the Baltic region.

The meeting involved in-depth discussions and brainstorming between the project partners on the project itself, which aims to support start-ups in acquiring and developing essential skills to reduce the ‘digital hygiene practices’ skills gap in a fast-changing world.

This meeting also helped the partners to align the project works, address any potential issues and plan the project activities for the next six months.

About the project

The Good Start Project will teach startups and VET institutions the benefits of having a regular digital hygiene program in place for their systems and software for two reasons: maintenance and security.

Why Digital Hygiene should be a priority?

Digital Hygiene should be a priority for all businesses and educational institutions, no matter their size. But for small and medium enterprises, startups, or educational institutions using the right tools and the best Digital Hygiene practices nowadays is not the standard, but a work-in-progress process.

We have the responsibility of creating a digital environment that protects our data and devices.
