Education for the Future

Barcelona, Spain, 27 – 29 September

For three intense days, Moodlers from all around the world met in Barcelona to exchange good Moodle practices and findings.

As we all know, Moodle’s mission is to empower educators to improve our world with open-source LMS software. So is no surprise that this year’s event motto was „Education for the Future”.

„Education is the foundation for our future and key to a peaceful and sustainable world. Whether in traditional education or workplaces, technology is crucial to transforming the future of education and fostering a model of lifelong learning that promotes social equity, sustainability, and global solidarity.

Our societies are constantly changing, and we are in increasingly turbulent times. We must come together to brainstorm solutions to problems, share findings, and explore best practices in creating quality online learning environments” (1).

„MoodleMoot Global 2022 provided a unique opportunity for Moodle enthusiasts or newcomers from all over the world to meet and learn from each other (…). With streams relevant to educators, trainers, administrators, and developers, our third MoodleMoot Global provides a range of professional learning and networking opportunities through workshops, presentations, panels, and fun social events, in an inclusive and open environment” (2).
